Oh The Wonderful Snow

Yep - it's that time of year! Woke up this morning to rain which turned to snow, and not the pretty kind, the wet, slipper, slushy kind. Are you prepared for winter weather?

The all included snow geaqr may seem like the best option for toddlers which range anywhere from $65-140!!! I almost gave in but hit up Target. The Snowbibs were solid colored for $14.00 and the puffy, lined jacket was $18.00 thats a total of $32 and grabbed a fleece lined hat and mittens from the dollar store - as a set!

If you are not near a Target or Dollar store - check out a second hand store. Most kids this age will only wear snow gear for 3 months out of the year and only for several hours at a time. No need for anything fancy - although the Northface sets are CUTE!

Needless to say it's time for white fluffy stuff and our kids' growing minds will no doubt want to be in it for hours at a time!

Love,
PlusPeace

  1. I don't know about snow clothes, but I hear that Old Navy usually has great sales on toddler clothes. I have yet to make it out to verify, but I keep hearing that from people.

This is a time of year when I'm glad I live in the south! (though it does get cold. Just not snowy cold)
